Gimp 是一套比美Photoshop、PhotoImpact的應用程式，不同的是，這套軟體為Open Source的軟體，而且可以在多個平台上執行，如你可以在Linux、Mac Os使用這套強大的圖片處理軟體。

而這套軟體除了Open Source外，此外這套軟體完全免費，且附有中文界面，不過這套軟體的缺點就是網路上和書店上的教學資源較少，而且有時載入字型會很慢，但是是因為它是開放源始碼的，所以我想這個問題應該會漸漸被改善吧！
