拿下第一盤的謝淑薇與彭帥，第二盤開局打得驚險，但仍順利保住發球局，以1-0領先，比賽至此打了1小時又10分鐘。

跟著面對Ashleigh Barty的發球局，又逼出破發點，不過又讓對手逃過，跟著一次來回對抽後，謝淑薇網前切球，再逼破發點，跟著下一點如法炮製完成破發，來到2-0。

勢如破竹的兩人，第3局也順利來到局點優勢，不過未能掌握住，但又來到第2個局點，謝淑薇一發不過，二發與對手來回對抽後，彭帥回擊造成對手掛網，來到3-0領先。

目前比賽仍在進行中。
