亞錦賽進入最後階段，晚間南韓隊對上菲律賓，雙方你來我往，比數互有領先，但菲律賓靠著靈活打法，最後以86比79打敗南韓，11日中華隊將出戰南韓隊，爭奪季軍，力拚世界盃門票。

轉播球評：「上來，隊友佔位的掩護，突然的扒進，這是勝利的一擊嗎？這球非常、非常關鍵。」

36歲老將Jim Alapag，第4節這記關鍵3分球，幫助菲律賓打進亞錦賽冠軍戰。
