位於台北市博愛路的國防部忠愛樓12日晚間發生火警，3百名士官緊急疏散，送醫的6名傷者中，有2人送醫時無生命跡象，搶救過後已恢復心跳，目前使用葉克膜維繫生命徵象。

據了解，12日晚間9時左右，國防部忠愛樓地下室進行冷氣維修工程，但疑似在施工時冷氣壓縮機爆炸，導致發生火警。警消獲報後立刻趕往現場搶救，並疏散3百名士兵，但仍有6人受傷送醫，其中有2名為軍職人員、4名工程人員。

在6名傷者中，有1名監工的林姓上士及1名林姓工程人員因傷勢較為嚴重，送醫時已無生命跡象，經搶救後恢復心跳，目前使用葉克膜維繫生命徵象。而因目前時機及事件發生地點較為敏感，一度引起高層緊張。
