中天新聞表示，自今（29）日只要網友在『災情快傳』的粉絲團上傳各地的災情畫面或是po文敘述各地災情，都有機會即時秀在中天新聞頻道上。

中天新聞表示，自從該台《新聞龍捲風》、《台灣顧問團》上電視秀大頭臉書粉絲團成立後，每日都有超過千名網友透過臉書po文發表意見，並在相關節目上輪播，這股網友自發性的討論熱潮，中天新聞更再加以運用到颱風災情訊息的傳遞上。

中天新聞指出，該台領先國內各家新聞頻道，在臉書成立『中天新聞災情中心』粉絲團，並因應這次颱風來襲各地災情頻傳，如果觀眾有任何對氣象問題，也能在粉絲團發問，中天新聞氣象團隊會以專業角度回覆網友提問。

中天新聞表示，該粉絲團的成立是要讓觀眾除了能掌握各地的災情外，也能讓各地受困需要幫助的民眾透過中天新聞獲得外援。
