在連六季衰退後，歐元區似乎終於盼到許久不見的景氣春燕，據彭博社最新調查預估，歐元區17國第二季經濟成長率將季增0.2%，有望正式擺脫衰退陰影。受經濟氣氛持續改善影響，德英法公債殖利率13日同步呈現大幅彈升走勢。

歐洲經濟研究中心(ZEW)13日公佈8月份的德國經濟信心指數(economic sentiment index)創4個月新高至達42.0，優於透統計預估的40.0。另外，隨後發布的歐元區6月份工業產出跳增0.7%，遠優於前月的負0.2%，是繼零售銷售、企業與消費者信心改善之後最新景氣復甦信號。

彭博社報導，摩根大通資深經濟學家Joseph Lupton指出，儘管不期望歐洲經濟能迅速起飛，但已看見成長速度提高檔次。

歐元區經濟產值佔全球比重達五分之一，Lupton預測，只要歐元區今年經濟成長多一個百分點，全球GDP將可因此提速0.7%，不僅可以抵銷大陸經濟成長趨緩衝擊，其主要貿易夥伴如英國、東歐國家，乃至台灣、墨西哥都可受惠。

MarketWatch報導，德國十年期公債殖利率大彈12.5個基點至1.818%；法國十年期公債跳增12個基點至2.359%，而英國十年期公債更是跳漲14.5個基點至2.61%。
