【綜合報導】義大利媒體今日報導，當地國營廣播電視公司(RAI)今年決定不轉播義大利小姐選美比賽，原因是收視率越來越差，加上社會大眾對改善女性形象施加壓力，讓RAI不得不放棄轉播。

據了解，該選美比賽在每年9月舉行，RAI轉播已有25年，但電視台總監指節目形式已經落伍。選美大會對這項決定表示不滿，並指選美並無貶低女性，電視台經費有部分來自納稅人，電視台有責任改良節目形式。
