投資「爛隊」? 歐尼爾反向操作

繼歌手賈斯汀、傑斯，NBA球隊又多了一位球迷熟悉的名人級小老闆，前湖人隊球星歐尼爾購買國王隊部分股權。

歐尼爾球員時期屢助湖人淘汰國王，2002年季後賽他更戲稱對手為「皇后隊」，不過這些恩怨情仇隨著他退休消失，買下部分股權後，希望幫助國王打破爛隊形象。

國王已連7季無緣季後賽，曾被知名體育媒體ESPN選為北美2013最差職業球隊，老闆馬魯夫兄弟今年5月把球隊賣給以印度裔企業家拉南迪夫（Vivek Ranadive）為首的沙加緬度財團。

歐尼爾說：「最差代表你不會再爛了，也等於我們有成長空間，球隊一定會進步的，一旦新場館、新商圈建立起來、凝聚全隊向心力後，就會敲開成功之門。」
