天兔襲台 災害應變中心嚴陣以待

　天兔颱風襲台，行政院副院長毛治國上午視察中央災害應變中心，指示各防災單位務必全程戒備，整合氣象、水象和土象，對外提供複合性防災資訊，更緊密落實防災作為。

　應變中心指揮官、內政部長李鴻源聽取第1次工作會報後則指出，天兔颱風來襲適逢中秋節連續假期，除做好防災準備工作，因應中秋返鄉車潮，若出現道路交通或鐵路封閉資訊，務必及早透過媒體告知社會大眾。

　中央氣象局上午8時30分發布陸上颱風警報，根據氣象局資料顯示，20日入夜至21日雨勢大，為颱風主要影響期，適逢大潮，沿海低窪地區應嚴防淹水及海水倒灌。
