　　玩家將成為二足機器人的駕駛員，接受任務到各個區域進行活動，一開始配有基本的來福槍、小型追蹤飛彈、近戰拳套，隨著遊戲進行會解鎖大砲、雷射等多種強力兵器，機器人駕駛的步驟較多，前進後退和左右擺動分開，如果想要使用飛彈類的武器還要把上下視角也考慮進去，透過經驗累積才能操作得流暢，觸控瞄準目標不用讓槍口一直追著目標跑，遊戲畫面和《機戰傭兵》系列比起來陽春許多，《Destroy Gunners SP-α》版本可選擇的機體和武裝不多，可進行的任務也只有幾項讓玩家體驗，但是對於喜歡機器人戰爭的玩家應該能充分體會其中的樂趣。
