南韓長頸鹿生18胎　破最多產紀錄

【綜合報導】南韓三星愛寶樂園營運的野生動物園，周日一頭現年27歲的長頸鹿媽媽「長順」(Jangsoon)產下第18胎，打破歷來最多產長頸鹿的紀錄。

這頭長頸鹿屬網紋長頸鹿，是瀕危品種，目前野生數目少於5000隻。牠在1986年出生，周日誕下第18胎時，剛好是牠的生日。她4歲時產下第一胎，也曾產下雙胞胎。長頸鹿懷胎需時15個月，意味着牠一生大部分時間都是在懷孕的狀態。

之前最多產紀錄的保持者，是位於巴黎動物園的一隻長頸鹿，一生產下17胎。牠在2005年已經去世。
