DocFetcher是一款開放原代碼的好用工具程式，DocFetcher超強的文件搜尋引擎可以替你搜尋電腦中指定的文件是否存在某些特殊關鍵字的一款免費軟體軟體，有時後我們想要找一人份word文件或是text文字檔案，然而你已經忘記這個檔案的名稱是什麼，這時就可以透過這款軟體來搜尋檔案內容具備某些特殊關鍵字的符合檔案。

有些朋友會說WINDOWS的檔案總管不是也有提供關鍵字搜尋檔案的功能，不過WINDOWS的檔案總管搜尋功能只能用來搜尋檔案名稱或是檔案所存在的資料夾名稱必需要和你的關鍵字相符合，它並不能夠搜尋出檔案的內容文檔具備特殊關鍵字這件事，因此這款DocFetcher的功能比較像是UNIX系統下的 grep 指令，可以用來搜尋符合某個關鍵字的檔案，非常方便的一款工具程式。
