【綜合報導】英國布里斯托大學研究員找出可能根治高血壓的方法。他們已在老鼠實驗證實，只要切除兩條頸動脈兩顆只有米般大的神經末梢，即可降低高血壓老鼠的血壓，並保持血壓正常，無不良副作用。

該神經末梢負責調節血液的含氧量和二氧化碳含量。專家希望這手術將來可用於食藥無效的高血壓病人身上，他們已開始對20位高血壓病人進行臨床試驗。
