菲律賓船難 24死217人失蹤

菲律賓海岸防衛隊今天(17日)表示，「聖湯瑪斯．艾奎納斯」號(St Thomas of Aquinas)渡輪與一艘貨輪相撞事件，已經造成至少24人死亡，至今仍然有217人下落不明。

菲律賓「聖湯瑪斯．艾奎納斯」號渡輪是在16日晚上9時在中部宿霧港(Cebu)外與「Sulpicio Express 7」號貨輪相撞後下沉。

當時渡輪上載有約870名乘客和船員。相撞的「Sulpicio Express 7」號貨輪上有36名船員，貨輪並沒有下沉。

菲律賓海岸防衛隊說，截至今天上午8時40分左右，已經有686人獲救，217人失蹤。事故現場已尋獲24具屍體。

菲律賓渡輪時常超載，聖湯瑪斯．艾奎納斯號船齡40年，可搭載904名乘客。
