國民黨中央委員週六進行改選，選舉文宣五花八門，較具爭議的是，社會上炒得沸沸揚揚的苗栗大埔事件，苗栗縣長劉政鴻把它當成政績，在拜票信中「喊冤」說是被親綠媒體惡意扭曲，強調自己是「嚴正依法執行公權力」。
