南投縣感染狂犬病的鼬獾再增兩例，總計已有8鄉鎮12例。3日新增的染病鼬獾分別是在魚池鄉及信義鄉發現的活體，經送農委會特生中心野生動物急救站觀察，出現神經病徵後施以安樂死送驗；2日深夜11 點半名間鄉新街村華山社區民眾，發現一隻鼬獾圍捕打死後，通報名間消防分隊帶回，3日由南投家畜疾病防治所送驗。
